Thank you for sharing these lessons. I’ve learned that it’s ok to ask for help and when I ask and receive, it’s a relief for me to learn that others are excited to be asked and to help. In the process, my network has unintentionally expanded and my personal and professional relationships are stronger. All these things combined are helping me take better care of myself, to laugh more, to appreciate the joy and beauty in the ordinary everyday things and events. Life is good, even when dealing with challenges.

You ALWAYS articulate exactly what I’m experiencing at the perfect time! Wow! I was speechless at self-reliance is a form of atheism. I’ve always worn my tenacious self-reliance as a badge of honor, but also “relied” on God and believed I’m a steward of His resources (but still being self-reliant). This was exactly what I needed to hear when I needed to hear it. And, slow is the new fast! Yes! So well said. My “top speed” (so perfectly said) is really fast and really efficient, and yet with menopause and life’s accumulation of emotional trauma, my top speed hasn’t been working well. And you helped me name it and give myself permission to understand why so I stop trying to blame myself and try harder to keep it up. Thank you so much Megan!!!!!!!
