Absolutely loved reading this, it took me right back to my childhood when I used to help my dad with his beekeeping, some great memories came flooding back. I always wondered in amazement, not only the dedication of the bees flying away collecting, finding their way back, and the workers building out the wax and filling the honey, as the queen just lay eggs all day long, a whole natural system encased in man-made hives. Fascinating!!

It’s great to read about your passion and sense of wonder with the bees. Fascinating.

I also find my sense of wonder in nature, and my daily dose is typically just watching all the goings on in my backyard…the birds, the squirrels, the rabbits, and how the plants and trees are growing and changing. We have a newish kitten as well and his attention to it all continues to remind me to be still and present.
